MICE Operations status & updates

Update 21/10/2026 – 4.16 pm

MICE is back online and available!

We understand that the temporary interruption has affected your work, and we appreciate that you may have questions. Over the coming days, we’ll publish more information on this page and answer frequently asked questions about the incident. For now, thank you for your patience and understanding.

Update 21/10/2026 – 3.21 pm

Taking MICE Operations offline as a precautionary measure was a significant decision, especially because events were scheduled to take place today and/or tomorrow. After all, the show must go on. Every venue hosting events today or tomorrow has just received an email containing the event schedules.

Update 21/10/2026 – 1:00 pm

Events may also be taking place at your venue today. While we await the PHP security update, which PHP is scheduled to release at 4:00 PM today, our development team is working on a solution to provide you with today’s event schedules.

Update 21/10/2026 – 12:45 pm

Overnight, vulnerabilities were discovered in PHP, a programming language used by websites and applications around the world. MICE also uses PHP under the hood.

Unfortunately, there is no immediate fix available to address these vulnerabilities. The team behind PHP will release a security update later today. Our development team is ready to implement the update as soon as it becomes available. However, to ensure the safety of our customers’ clients’ personal data, we have decided to temporarily take MICE Operations offline as a precautionary measure.

We understand that this is a significant measure. It is important to note that there is currently no reason to suspect that these vulnerabilities have been exploited within MICE. We are also making sure that you receive the event schedules for any events taking place at your venue today as soon as possible.
